About this experience

This experience lasts 2 to 3 hours and begins with a short walk to the Eiffel Tower. You will ascend to the 2nd level with a guide using your prebooked ticket, providing views of Paris's major attractions. An English-speaking guide will offer commentary during the visit. Your group will also have the chance to take a 1-hour cruise along the Seine River, where you can see the city's famous monuments from the water. For late-night tours at 21h15 and 21h45 that include access to the summit, you need to email in advance on the day of your visit to receive the cruise tickets. There will be no time for this after the tour begins, and refunds are not available.

Eiffel Tower

Meet your guide at the departure point, a 5-minute walk from the Eiffel Tower, to begin your tour by listening to commentary about the 'Iron Lady,' Paris' most recognizable attraction. Go up to the viewing platform on the 2nd floor. If you booked the summit option, you can go to the top, otherwise on your way down you can eithertake the lift or the stairs to reach the first level and enjoy the floor of glass. As the majestic geometry of Paris unfolds at your feet, you will hear interesting tales and anecdotes that recount the tower's history, from a hated monstrosity to one of the most-visited and iconic monuments in the world.

The Seine

You will also be given a ticket to embark on a 1-hour cruise along the Seine River. It is valid for any departure within six months of your visit to the Eiffel Tower. During your cruise on the Seine, you have the chance to admire the famous monuments of Paris as you follow the flow of the river through the city. Relax and enjoy a pleasant hour on board.

  • Items not allowed in the tower include: over-sized luggage or bags, climbing or jumping gear (especially bungee jumping and parachutes), publicity materials of any kind, child buggies/strollers that are not fold-able, animals, except those required by disabled visitors, glass bottles, drink cans, excessive amount of food or drink
  • Please note that it is NOT possible to buy a ticket for the summit on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower.
