What do I find on RoamRide?

A selection. We go through the activity catalogues in France, Italy, Spain and Germany, and keep only what is worth a day of yours. On each listing we gather what you need in order to decide: the real duration, the meeting point, what the price includes and what it does not, the cancellation terms. That is work you do not have to redo, and it costs you nothing — we are paid by the seller, never out of your price.

Where is my booking completed?

You choose here, and today you book with our partner Viator: we take you there with your selection, and the payment, the voucher and the after-sales are handled on their side, under their terms — at no extra cost to you. Direct booking on RoamRide will open with our first partner operators. The sign will stay the same: if there is a payment button on RoamRide, the sale happens here.

Can I book without creating an account?

Yes. All you need is a valid email address: the confirmation, the voucher and the invoice all travel through it. You also get a personal link to your booking — keep it, it is your proof of access and the booking is not findable without it.

Is my booking confirmed straight away?

Accepted Answer

It depends on the listing, which says so. Most confirm instantly: your place is secured the moment payment is taken. Others remain subject to the operator's confirmation; until it is given the departure is not guaranteed, and we tell you as soon as it is.

Question 5

How late can I book?

Accepted Answer

Each listing sets its own deadline — often 24 hours before departure, sometimes less. Past it, the departure leaves the calendar rather than letting you reach payment only to be refused.

How many travellers can I book for?

The option you choose sets its own minimum and maximum, both shown as you select. Infants appear on the traveller list without taking a seat. For a group larger than the maximum shown, write to the operator: many accept on request.

How does payment work?

By card, on our page, through Stripe. We neither receive nor store your card number. Depending on your bank, strong authentication may be required — without it the payment is declined and no booking is created.

I left the page while paying — have I lost my seats?

Accepted Answer

Your seats are held for about thirty minutes while you pay. Past that, they go back on sale and we email you a link that rebuilds your selection. It is not a held reservation: the page prices the choice again, and the price may have moved.

Can I pay later?

Accepted Answer

On listings that offer it, yes: the booking is taken immediately and payment falls due by the stated deadline, always before departure. Without payment by then, the booking is cancelled and the seats released.

What currency am I charged in?

Accepted Answer

Euros. An amount shown in another currency is indicative and exists for comparison — it is not a price commitment. Your bank may apply its own conversion charges.

How do promotional codes and loyalty points combine?

Accepted Answer

In this order: the promotional code comes off the price first, then loyalty points off what is left. A code may be limited in number of uses, in time, or to certain listings. Neither is redeemable for cash.

Where and when should I turn up?

Accepted Answer

The meeting point, the access instructions and the reporting time are on your voucher and on your booking page. Where a reporting time is given, that is the one to remember: arriving at the departure time can be enough to miss the activity.

How does my voucher work?

Accepted Answer

A PDF with a QR code, sent as soon as payment is taken and downloadable at any time from your booking. It is single-use: the first scan consumes it. No need to print it — a phone screen is enough.

What if the operator changes the meeting point?

Accepted Answer

We email you, with the old point and the new one side by side, and your voucher is reissued. Download it again before you travel: the one you already have still names the old address.

What language is the activity run in?

Accepted Answer

Each option states the languages it is guided in, and you choose yours when booking. A language the option does not offer is refused at booking rather than discovered on the day.

How does cancellation work?

Accepted Answer

There is no single rule on RoamRide: each listing carries its own policy, shown on the listing and repeated before payment. It states the deadline beyond which the refund is reduced, and the share refunded on either side of it. Read it before booking — that is what applies, not a platform-wide rule.

What if the operator cancels or moves the departure?

Accepted Answer

You are refunded in full, whatever the listing's policy. If the departure is only moved, we tell you and you remain free to refuse the new date: the refund is still full.

Question 18

When am I refunded?

Accepted Answer

To the original payment method. We write to you when the bank confirms the money has moved, not when we ask for it: that delay is your bank's and outside our control. Expect a few working days.

Can I change the date of my booking?

Accepted Answer

From your booking page, as long as the new departure has seats and the booking deadline has not passed. If the new price differs, the difference is shown to you before you confirm.

I did not turn up — can I be refunded?

Accepted Answer

No, unless the listing says something more generous. Arriving late at the meeting point counts as a late cancellation. If something goes wrong, tell the operator before the time: many find a solution no automatic rule could offer.

Who can leave a review?

Accepted Answer

Only a traveller who actually paid for a booking on that activity. Reviews are neither bought nor solicited in exchange for anything, and we do not edit their content — we remove only what is abusive, off-topic, or discloses personal data.

Question 22

Where do I find my invoice?

Accepted Answer

On your booking page, next to the voucher, as soon as payment is taken. If you gave a billing address when paying, it appears on it; otherwise the invoice is made out to your name and email address.

Something went wrong during the activity — who do I contact?

Accepted Answer

The operator first: they run the activity and are the ones who can act on the spot. Their details are on your voucher. If that does not settle it, write to us with your booking reference and we step in.
