About this experience

Participate in a half-day small group tour exploring the Tuscan wine country. The experience includes driving through vineyards, olive groves, and cypress trees. You will visit two wineries to learn about the wine-making process, enjoy wine and olive oil tastings, and sample local Tuscan specialties. This tour is suitable for wine enthusiasts and those interested in regional cuisine. It is not ideal for individuals looking for a large group experience. Before booking, note that transportation is included, but meals outside of the tastings are not.

  • Due to a few stairs to access wine cellars, this tour is not accessible for those using a wheelchair

  • Wines tasted: reds typical of the Chianti region ( normally Chianti Classico, Riserva, Super Tuscans, Gran Selezione, etc.).
  • Operates rain or shine, please dress appropriately
  • Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed
  • Return at departure point: 1:45pm for the 9.00am tour - 7:00pm for the 2:30pm tour. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.
  • Visited wineries may vary depending on their availability, etc.; they may be 2 of the following Fattoria Montecchio, Casa Emma, San Michele a Torri, Villa Poggio Torselli, Podere Anselmo, Casa di Monte, Tenuta Capponi, Villa i Langi, Tenuta San Vito, etc.
  • For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.
