Participants will embark on a bike tour from Paris to Versailles, including a train journey. The day includes visits to the local market in Versailles, the grounds and gardens of Versailles, Marie Antoinette’s village, and the Trianons. A picnic is provided, followed by self-paced exploration of the Chateau. This tour is suitable for those who prefer smaller group sizes and a community atmosphere. It is not ideal for individuals seeking large group tours. The tour includes tickets to the palace and a guide who accompanies participants on the train.
See the exterior of the Palace at the beginning of the tour, a great way to kick off your full day experience.
See a bit of the gardens when you first enter the estate, knowing there will be extra time to explore them at your own pace at the end of the tour.
You’ll have free time to explore one of the best farmer’s markets in France and to buy your supplies for our picnic in the gardens of Versailles.
We'll stop off at the grand canal to eat the delicious goodies you purchased for lunch at the market!
Located in the castle, your guide will not take you to see the Hall of Mirrors — but your ticket into the castle is included, and with your free audio guide, you'll learn all about one of the most famous halls in French history!
Hop of your bikes to get a deeper perspective of the grounds of Versailles. Spend time exploring and learning about Marie Antoinette's Hamlet, and her personal estates, the Grand and Petit Trianon.
