About this experience

This guided tour involves exploring less-known areas of Mallorca in an 8-seat minivan. Participants will visit hidden landscapes, learn about local legends and history, and taste traditional Mallorcan flavors. The tour includes three specific routes, each lasting about 5.5 hours and covering approximately 90 km in the southern part of the island. A lunch featuring "pa amb oli," which consists of rustic bread with tomatoes, olive oil, jam, cheese, and olives, is included. The three routes are: Tramuntana Hidden Places from Valldemossa to Soller, Windmills and Charming Villages from Algaida to the Cura Sanctuary, and Salt Marshes and Cliffs from Cap Blanc to the "Salinas d´Es trenc." This tour is suitable for those seeking a more intimate experience away from crowded tourist spots.

Itinerary

1

Algaida

Stop in Route nº 2 After travelling through the landscape of the windmills, we will arrive at the village of Algaida, where we will make our first visit to one of the best-preserved windmills. We will not be able to go inside as it is a private property, but we will be able to observe all the details of these beautiful structures that have survived the passage of time and that provided energy and sustenance to the inhabitants of the islands.

2

Pina

Stop in Route nº 2: On our route on the way to Cura, we come across this quiet village of barely 500 inhabitants, where we will make our second stop, to take a walk to the Cruz de Pina, visit its fountain and listen to the history of the ancient washing places, a vestige of the Islamic period that stands out for the hydraulic systems of the archaeological remains of the place.

3

Lloret de Vista Alegre

Stop in Route nº 2: Continuing along our route, we will take a detour to the village of Lloret de Vista Alegre, with a population of 1,400 inhabitants. We will not make a stop in the village but we will be able to cross its plains and listen to the history and traditions of this magical place.

4

Montuiri

Stop in Route nº 2: Another of the villages that we will pass through with our expert local guides, Montuïri is the perfect example of rural and traditional Mallorca, perched on a hill with endless slopes. On the outskirts of the village, we will make our third stop of the day, this time to recharge our batteries while we enjoy a delicious pa amb oli in one of the most typical places visited by Mallorcans.

5

Santuari de Cura

Stop in Route nº 2: Our route continues to the village of Randa, which we will cross until we reach our last stop, the majestic Sanctuary of Cura, which rises 550 m above sea level surrounded by nature and from where we have spectacular 360º views of Mallorca, and from where we can, on clear days, see the island of Cabrera.

6

Cala Pi

Stop in Route nº 3: On our way to the Salinas d'Es Trenc, we come across another unmissable site, the tower of Cala Pi, and the cliff that leads down to the famous beach of Cala Pi, with its turquoise, crystal-clear water.
