About this experience

Travel on a 13-hour journey to the Bernina TRAIN railway, a UNESCO World Heritage site, through Lake Como and an Alpine valley. The tour accommodates a maximum of 18 people and uses a small bus for an intimate experience. A stop is included in a lakeshore village, with a potential visit to a winery, old cellar, or café. You will have approximately one hour for lunch in Tirano before boarding the Bernina TRAIN, which ascends the Swiss Alps. The tour includes a stop at one of the highest points for views of snowcaps and glaciers. Following this, you will visit St. Moritz for about 45 minutes to explore the resort. The return journey takes you back through another scenic valley in Switzerland to Lake Como, where you will board a regular train or minibus back to Milan.

30-minute walking (there might be some stairs) of a picturesque and lovely little town on the lake

Driving along part of the Lake shore and then through Valtellina valley for a total of 1.5 hours

Quick stop either in a quaint town of the valley or in a winery or in a cafè

Getting off the minibus and then we have to climb some stairs to reach the Bernina station with free time for your lunch (on your own)

Ospizio Bernina

Bernina TRAIN ride on the Bernina Express railway getting off on the highest point of the journey! In the winter we get off at Diavolezza stop!

We walk for 10 minutes along the small alpine lake then some stairs to get to the escalator to reach the sloping downtown for about 30 minutes of free time to explore this well known town!

Either driving all the way or partially with a regional train to Milan Central station for a total of 3 hours including a break
