The miniature worlds of Stuttgart show Stuttgart in the 1980s and 1990s on approximately 180 square meters in miniature format. The special thing: The entire facility was built by a single person, Wolfgang Frey, in only about 15 years. Around 450 buildings, 2,500 vehicles, 4,000 trees, and countless small everyday scenes were created. What is particularly fascinating is that simple waste and everyday materials were used for many details. Only upon closer inspection does one realize the ingenuity with which buildings, landscapes, and tiny details of furnishing were created. Visitors can observe the extensive train operations, discover well-known places in Stuttgart, and keep finding new hidden scenes. A round eight-meter-long control panel also shows how the numerous trains are controlled. An extraordinary piece of Stuttgart city history and model making art, created by only one person.
