About this experience

This tour begins with boarding a private motorboat at Lake Garda, taking you to Venice. Upon arrival at Riva degli Schiavoni, a guide will escort you to St Mark's Square, where you can see St Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace, known for their distinctive Byzantine Gothic architecture. An optional gondola ride of 30 minutes is available for an additional cost immediately after your arrival in the square. After this, you will have free time to explore Venice and possibly enjoy lunch, with cicchetti, a local Venetian tapas, being a popular choice. In the afternoon, there is an optional one-hour lagoon trip available, also at an extra charge, or you can choose to explore on your own.

Riva degli Schiavoni

Upon arrival the coach will park at the Tronchetto coach park and a private motorboat (approx. 20 mins) will take you close to Riva degli Schiavoni.

St. Mark's Basilica

Your guide will lead you to St Mark's Square, which is one of the most famous sights in Venice, including the Saint Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace.

Palazzo Ducale

Here, you can admire the wonderful St Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace next door. Their orient-infused Byzantine Gothic architecture will whet your appetite for more.

Venice

And there's no better way to explore Venice than with a romantic gondola trip – an optional 30-minute ride (30.00 EUR pp) is available just after arrival in St Mark's Square. You'll then have free time for exploring this enchanting city, and perhaps to find somewhere to have lunch. If you fancy something really typical, locals love their cicchetti – Venetian tapas.
