Alpirsbach Monastery
The impressive medieval Alpirsbach Monastery is located in an idyllic valley extension of the Kinzig in the Black Forest. Built in the 11th century by Benedictine monks in the spirit of the Hirsau reform movement, it is one of the few remaining southwest German monasteries of its kind. Instead of visiting the monastery from the inside, you can also take part in a free Boer tasting after the brewery tour.
