This full-day tour allows you to explore the sweet white wines of Sauternes with a certified private driver-guide. You will visit an independent winery to learn about traditional winemaking techniques and taste a variety of authentic white wines from the Bordeaux region at a winery recognized for its environmental standards. The itinerary includes lunch at one of the smallest and oldest classified growths in Sauternes, recognized as a "Golden Best of Wine Tourism," and a visit to an 11th-century abbey, a UNESCO World Heritage site, where you will gain insights into the botrytis fungus.
