About this experience
This experience involves visiting two wineries in the Médoc, a renowned part of the Bordeaux wine region. Participants will explore a Grand Cru Classé in Margaux and taste a selection of mainly red wines. The tour accommodates up to 9 people and is conducted in a minivan with a local guide. The itinerary begins at the Cité du Vin, where guests meet at 9:25 am (or 2:25 pm) for a program overview. Departure follows at 9:30 am (or 2:30 pm). The first stop is at a Cru Bourgeois estate, where visitors learn about wine production and the operation of an organic vineyard before tasting 3 wines from the estate, including Haut-Médoc, Moulis-en-Médoc, and Margaux. Next, the group travels to Margaux to visit a Grand Cru 1855 estate, also practicing organic or biodynamic farming. After a tour of the technical facilities, participants will taste 3 wines from this estate. The tour concludes with a return to Bordeaux at approximately 1:30 pm (or 6:30 pm), with a possible variance of 15 minutes.

La Cite du Vin
Your guide will meet you in front of the Cité du Vin (Wine Museum). Within 30 minutes, he'll take you to the Médoc and the first winery of the day. On the way, he'll explain the special characteristics of Bordeaux wines and those of the Médoc in particular.

Margaux
The second property is located in the prestigious village of Margaux. You will discover an elegant winery, Grand Cru Classé 1855.

La Cite du Vin
After the visit to Margaux, we will return to Bordeaux where your guide will drop you off near the Cité du Vin. The return journey will take around 45 minutes.
