About this experience

Travel from Madrid for six days to explore Andalusia and Toledo. Visit cities including Seville, Córdoba, Granada, and Toledo, experiencing a mix of history, culture, and scenery. The trip is suitable for those interested in southern Spain's heritage but may not suit travelers with limited time. Meals and accommodations are included, but transportation to and from Madrid is the responsibility of the traveler.

Itinerary

(Saturday) MADRID -MERIDA - SEVILLA (540 km)

Departure from our terminal at 7:30 a.m. towards Extremadura to arrive in Mérida, with free time to explore its extraordinary archaeological complex, featuring the Roman Theatre and Amphitheatre, both declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Lunch at leisure. We then continue along the “Autovía de la Plata” (Silver Route) towards Andalucia, arriving in Sevilla. Dinner and accommodations.

(Sunday) SEVILLA

Breakfast. Morning city sightseeing tour, including María Luisa Park, Plaza de España, the exterior of the city’s stunning Cathedral and its bell tower, called Giralda and the typical neighborhood of Santa Cruz with its streets, squares and narrow alleys. If you wish, you can optionally navigate the Guadalquivir river, during which you will enjoy a panoramic view of the Gold Tower and Expo 92, or visit to the Maestranza bullring. Lunch at your own. In the evening, also as an optional activity, you can attend a flamenco show. Accommodations.

(Monday) SEVILLA - CORDOBA (145 kms)

Breakfast. Departure to Cordoba, at our arrival we start our walking tour starting at Almodovar Gate through the Jewish Quarter and continue for visiting the famous Mosque/Cathedral. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodations.

(Tuesday) CORDOBA - RONDA - COSTA DEL SOL (322 km)

Breakfast. Then departure to the Route of the White Villages and Ronda. Free time. Continuation to Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodations

(Wednesday) COSTA DEL SOL - GRANADA* (180 kms)

Breakfast. Departure to Granada. Visit to the spectacular group of monuments of the Alhambra and Generalife, former residence of the Moorish kings, with its magnificent fountains, gardens and arches. Dinner and accommodations. Optional visit to the caves of Sacromonte and attend a typical show of gipsy flamenco. * When The Patronato of the Alhambra and Generalife, is unable, for its own technical or organisational reasons, to provide the corresponding admission tickets, these will be replaced by a tourist activity in the city of Granada, such as, for example: Palace of Carlos V, Archaeological Museum, Church of Santa María, Royal Chapel, Alcaiceria (silk market), Cathedral Square, Gypsy Zambra show...

(Thursday) GRANADA - TOLEDO - MADRID (446 kms)

Breakfast and departure towards the Imperial City of Toledo, full of history and monuments. Lunch and panoramic view from Mirador del Valle and walk through it´s old town. Continuation back to Madrid. Arrival and end of our services.
