The Palazzo Madama is a palace in Turin, northern Italy. It was the seat of the Royal Court of Savoy and the residence of the Kings of Sardinia until 1946. The palace was designed by architect Carlo Barabino and built in 1563-67 for Charles Emmanuel I, Duke of Savoy to replace a structure belonging to his mother Christine Marie of France, who had been the duchess since her husband became the king in 1630.
