About this experience
Travel from Florence to the Chianti region for a wine experience that lasts a full day. During this tour, you will visit two local wineries, where you will partake in guided tastings of regional wines, including Chianti Classico, along with olive oil and traditional Tuscan food. Depending on your selected option, the itinerary includes a visit to either Monteriggioni or San Gimignano, both of which are picturesque medieval villages perfect for enjoying scenic views and taking photos. The wine tastings are conducted in English, and your tour leader will provide translation support if necessary. Be prepared for a moderate amount of stairs and walking during the tour. Note that during special events, winery opening times may vary, and while the itinerary may be subject to changes, all scheduled stops will be included.
