About this experience
Participate in a 3 hour and 30 minute urban hike in Marseille, limited to a maximum of 5 participants. This guided experience covers a 7 km loop, starting from Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica and including hidden coastal coves. The hike takes you through authentic fishing villages and offers scenic views of the Mediterranean coast. Suitable for those looking to explore less touristy areas. It is important to note that this activity may not be ideal for larger groups.

Basilique Notre Dame de la Garde
The Basilica of Our Lady of the Guard (The Good Mother) Exterior discovery of this iconic monument in neo-Byzantine style. Enjoy a panoramic 360° view of the entire harbor of Marseille. Free indoor tour of the Basilica. It's an explosion of color and light. It is lined with mosaics on a gold background (more than 12 million small pieces called tesserae). I'd invite you to look up at the ceiling. Small boats and suspended planes are ex-votos. These are gifts from sailors, fishermen or airmen who survived a storm or accident to thank the Good Mother for saving their lives. Then we will start your descent towards the JF Kennedy Corniche (about 25 minutes walk)

Anse de la Fausse Monnaie
L'Anse de la Forge Currency Pass under the Kennedy Corniche viaduct to discover this small recessed pocket port and its legendary history of counterfeit coins. Then we will take the coastal road towards the village of Malmousque.
