About this experience

Participants will explore one of Lyon's famous traboules, hidden passageways that link streets through historic buildings, while heading to the wine-tasting room. The experience takes place in a charming apartment located in the heart of Vieux Lyon, where a sommelier will provide insights into the wine regions surrounding Lyon and lead an authentic tasting journey. Over the course of 2 hours, attendees will sample six wines from prominent regions such as Côtes du Rhône, Beaujolais, Mâconnais, and Burgundy. Each wine tasting will be accompanied by a discussion of the grape varieties, terroirs, and traditions unique to these areas. Guests will also enjoy pairings of Lyon's local specialties, including St-Marcellin cheese, Lyon-style charcuterie, artisanal chocolates, and praline treats. The experience ends at 1:00 p.m.
