About this experience

Join a guided tour that includes a visit to the Great Cone of Vesuvius and the Pompeii Ruins. This experience departs from Naples and is suitable for those interested in history and archaeology. It lasts a total of 5 hours, with 2 hours dedicated to exploring Pompeii, where you will see sites like the Amphitheatre, Thermopolium, temples, and notable Roman houses such as Casa del Fauno. An English audio guide is provided to enhance your understanding of the site. The Vesuvius portion of the tour takes 3 hours, including 1.5 hours of free time for you to hike to the crater and enjoy views of the surrounding area, including Capri, Ischia, Procida, Naples, and Pompeii. Naples

We meet our clients at the meeting point in via Cristoforo Colombo n. 45, near "Hotel Romeo", at Naples Port. From here customers take the bus to go to the Vesuvio.

Parco Nazionale Del Vesuvio

The bus goes to the Vesuvius National Park (40 minutes) and stops at 1000 metres hight and there customers will have free time for the visit of Crater. Clients usually have 1 hour and half free time and to reach the Top you just need about 25 minutes by walk. During the walk you will admire Naples Gulf, Sorrento Coast, Capri and more islands. Once at the Crater you can see it smoking (fumaroles) and parts of solidified Lava. After that you will meet again our driver at the same place he dropped you off and you will come back to the meeting point. Total trip duration will be about 3 hours including bus transportation. The price includes the entry ticket to reach Mount Vesuvius Crater and it guarantees hassle-free entry to the crater at the booked time.

Archaeological Park of Pompeii

The entry ticket includes a lot of domus, temples, theaters, and amphitheaters, and everything is open inside the archeological area. You will discover the secrets of Pompeii, a magical city that was buried by the ash of the eruption of 79 AD. until its treasures were discovered centuries later. You'll explore frescoed domus you won't find anywhere else; you will walk in an authentic brothel (or brothel!); you will admire grandiose amphitheaters; and much more.
