Munich Marienplatz

The walking tour will begin at the bustling Marienplatz, home to the Old St. Peter’s Church, the landmark Fish’s Fountain, and the Old and New Town Halls.

Rathaus-Glockenspiel

This is also where you will find the famous animated clock Rathaus-Glockenspiel and its beautiful life-sized figures that reenact the stories about kings and knights from 16th-century Bavaria. Your kids will love the singing and dancing figures for sure!

Residenz Munchen

Be at the magnificent palace and gardens of the Residenz, former home of the Bavarian monarchy.

Visit the Toy’s Museum, located in the tower of the Old Town Hall. This history museum houses rare and unique children's toys from Europe and USA, including centuries old teddy bears, toy trains, robots and vintage Barbie dolls. You will feel nostalgic for sure! The guide will share interesting facts about the toys to help your children imagine what it was like to grow up without modern toys and technology.

Maximilianeum

The extended walking route will also include the remains of the medieval-era defensive city walk around Maximilianeum, an ideal place to hear more amazing stories about brave knights and princesses.
