Travel to the medieval village of Requena, located 50 minutes from the city, in the Utiel-Requena wine region known for its Bobal grape. This private tour includes a visit to a winery where you will explore cellars and vineyards, learning about winemaking processes and enjoying a tasting of regional wines, often complemented by local Valencian foods. You will then visit Requena’s castle tower for views of the area, walk through historic streets, and see the ancient Moorish caves that were historically used for wine storage. The tour continues with a second tasting at a boutique winery or local wine club, where you will sample 3–5 additional wines, followed by a late lunch at a local restaurant featuring Requena wines paired with traditional Valencian dishes. This experience is suited for wine enthusiasts who appreciate a mix of history, food, and local culture.

Pick-up from your hotel/accommodation in Valencia by your private guide in comfortable, air-conditioned transport for journey to the medieval village of Requena. The trip takes approximately 1 hour.

Once we arrive, we will start with a visit to a carefully selected winery in Requena, where we’ll wander through historic cellars, sun-drenched vineyards, and production areas while learning about traditional and modern winemaking techniques.
